AWG American Wire Gauge Table

In wire processing industry, when to select suitable machines (such as wire stripper, wire cutting and stripping macine, wire crimping machine, etc.), the conductor cross ssection in accordance with the “AWG American Wire Gauge Table” is the most common factor to be considered. The overall diameter of a certain AWG number (such as AWG 18) may differ due to different manufacturing process by different wire making factories, the conductor cross section will be same however.
